Thanks FS very interesting.
The track layout on the approach to Flinders Street was particularly interesting compared to today where the layout is little better than 'straight rail'.

There's a bit of flexibility left. Not as much, and the HK overlords consider them a barrier to taking money from the rail system OS.

This is already a few years old but damn, it's impressive.


I didn't see a machine working there. Do you think they were all 'engineers'? 1200 of them to do the work in 3.5 hours.
