Yeah, I tried typing "[", "i" and "]", as well as clicking in the italics buttony thing, same result any way I did it. They've probably put in some code so that lower case 'I' by itself becomes capital, without thinking about it fucking up the italics code.
edit - noticed when I submitted this there were 3 debug messages at the top of the screen, there are exactly 3 lower case I's by themselves in what I submitted, so that seems like evidence to support what I've written.
